Friday, October 8: New Jersey Public Health Association 2021 Annual Conference
On Friday, October 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the New Jersey Public Health Association (NJPHA) will present its 2021 Annual Conference. The theme is “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Implications in Vulnerable Populations and Public Health Practice.” Participants will hear from New Jersey experts about how ready the New Jersey public health system has been in providing critical services during the pandemic. Conference sessions will explore practice-based solutions pertinent to public health issues for vulnerable populations, including innovations from Acenda Integrated Health and its partners to connect 800 high-risk residents throughout South Jersey to COVID-19 vaccination appointments at community-based, pop-up events. Acenda Integrated Health and its healthcare, school and nonprofit partners are networking and exchanging insights with colleagues across the state through the NJ Vaccination Learning Network.
