Culture Shop Host Next Business Bazaar on Sunday, Nov. 22 – Front Runner New Jersey

MILLVILLE – The Culture Shop of South Jersey will host its next event displaying business vendors of African-American decent and other cultures on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 501 N. High Street here from noon to 4 p.m.

Founder and organizer Miranda Pierce said the events are meant to give a boost to black small business owners and others who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. Sunday’s events come less than a week before Thanksgiving and the traditional Black Friday rush.

Pierce referred to the event as “a movement.” The last Culture Shop at the Alms Center in Bridgeton earlier this month attracted 35 vendor from as far away as Newark and Trenton. She said she hopes to host these events every other week until the end of the year.

The Culture Shop started that the North High Street location, where Pierce’s business, Embellish Treasure Club, a women’s accessories shop, is located. She runs the business with her mother Joqueta Pierce.

A list of other businesses participating is coming. For more information, call 856-319-2370.
