New Jersey Pro Wrestler Deonna Purrazzo Set to Make an Impact – Brooklyn Sports World

I must admit, I haven’t watched much of Impact Wrestling until recently. But that will change going forward.

After WWE released former NXT wrestler and New Jersey native Deonna Purrazzo in early April, it didn’t take “The Virtuosa” long to ink a deal with Impact Wrestling.

Purrazzo feels that WWE was stockpiling free agent wrestlers just to keep them from signing elsewhere, and I agree with that sentiment.

On the one hand, it’s a business decision. However, it’s not good for the industry as a whole, as WWE is allowing perfectly good talent to go to waste for its own selfish reasons.

Purrazzo, with developing mic skills and a radiant persona, is unquestionably a rising beacon of virtuosity in professional wrestling, a gifted grappler who should be permitted to shine in any squared circle.

Purrazzo, who was born in Livingston, N.J., and raised in Jefferson, N.J., has an extremely high ceiling and could be the female wrestler that WWE regrets letting go.

Whether she’s employing her technically sound mat skills or locking in her finishing move, the Fujiwara Armbar, on an unexpected foe, Purrazzo is a star in the making, no doubt about it.

In a young career, the 25-year-old raven-haired beauty has wrestled for some of the world’s best promotions, including Ring Of Honor (ROH) and the Japanese-based female wrestling outfit Stardom.

Purrazzo is making her Impact Wrestling debut Tuesday, and let’s see how what type of impact she can make in the ring.
