In a new manufacturing of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” trash comes to be prize. Sets and costumes are made from old secrets, straws, plastic subscription as well as transit cards, red wine corks, and CDs – all evoking a wonderful world. Supervisor and also developer Bonnie Monte – a self-proclaimed collection agency and recycler – describes her vision of the play, and how it’s rooted in Shakespeare’s language. Performances proceed via July 30 at the Outdoor Stage in Morris Township.
